Electrical Maintenance Technician (Hourly)

Dura-Line is a leading international manufacturer and distributor of communication and energy infrastructure products and systems. We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for the night shift who will assist the Maintenance Manager with repairs and general maintenance on all equipment for various production departments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all resin systems, vacuum loaders, clean filters and make repairs as required.
  • Maintain all support equipment, tape feeder, spiral units, extruders, vacuum tanks, pullers, reelers, air systems and water system.
  • Assist all departments with breakdowns.
  • Assist and/or perform all tooling changes for the extrusion department as required by order change.
  • Perform daily maintenance sheets on all lift trucks as per work sheet.
  • Use volt meter, check and replace fuses, motor starter, replays, pumps, motors, both AC-DC and trouble shoot faulty electric circuits.
  • Assist the general maintenance crew with equipment rebuild, plant shutdowns and new equipment installations.
  • Ability to bend and install conduit, run wiring, hook up pumps, motors, install electrical panels, drives and controls.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Follow all safety requirements of this position.
  • Perform all other duties as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Ability to use most hand and power tools required for this position: wrenches, torches, volt meters, drill press and band saw.
  • Electrical ability and familiarity with plumbing.
  • Welding ability is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of state and local safety codes.

Occupational and/or Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to successfully complete certification training through lift truck training program.

Education: Bachelor's degree (or Equivalency) from a program accredited by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). A Master's degree is preferred. Master's degree (or Equivalency) can be in Music Therapy from a program accredited by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA); or, if the candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or Equivalency) in Music Therapy from a program accredited by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA), then the Master's Degree can be in a related field (i.e. Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, etc.).

Experience: One year of experience providing music therapy services is required. Consideration will be made for time spent in practicum or internship providing music therapy services. Three years of experience providing music therapy services, including direct patient work in a hospital or healthcare setting, is preferred. Should possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and musical skills.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Music Therapist - Board Certified (MT-BC) or Board Certified eligible from the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
