CLEVELAND-- For the 10th consecutive year, Cleveland will hold a "Rally For Troops" event on Sunday, April 29.

The event is bittersweet, as it celebrates and welcomes home veterans from Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, but also remembers those who have lost their lives serving overseas.

Here is the schedule for Sunday:

10-10:30 a.m. "Welcome Home Ceremony"-Gateway Plaza

10:30-10:45 a.m. Veterans Parade Ontario to Public Square

11:00 a.m. to Noon "10th  Annual Rally for Troops" in SW Quadrant of Public Square

Rally for Troops Organizer John Kikol says, "We want to line Ontario with flags and 'thank you messages' as they and their families march to Public Square for the Rally."

The parade will conclude at noon with a reading of all the names of Ohio's Fallen Heroes from OEF and OIF.

A statement from the "Rally for Troops" website:

"Every member of the Armed Forces is somebody's son or daughter, worthy of our respect, our pride, our devotion and our never ending streams of support, love and prayers."

As in the past, there will also be group motorcycle departures from all Harley Davidson dealerships in Northeast Ohio.

Kikol recommends contacting your local Harley Davidson dealership for specific details.

Rain or shine, Kikol says the event will take place as scheduled.
