Drivers on I-480 eastbound and westbound need to note these closings from May 30 through June 2.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is shutting down all of the westbound lanes on I-480 at Warrensville Center Road from 11 p.m. Wednesday May 30 until 6 a.m. Thursday.

Drivers will be detoured off I-480 onto the side streets.

The closure is so ODOT crews can perform overhead work on Warrensville Center Road.

Detour information

I-480 westbound drivers will be detoured via Aurora Road, north on Northfield Road, west on Miles Road, and south on Warrensville Center Road to I-480 west.

U.S. 422 west/I-271 southbound drivers wanting to access I-480 west will be detoured west on Miles Road and south on Warrensville Center Road to I-480 west.

Overnight Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 30, crews will close all lanes on I-480 eastbound at Warrensville Center Road from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. in order to perform overhead work on Warrensville Center Road.

Detour information:

I-271 north/U.S. 422 motorists will be detoured south on Warrensville Center Road, east on SR 17 (Libby Road), north on Northfield Road and east on Miles Road to I-271 north/U.S. 422.

I-480 east/I-271 southbound motorists will be detoured south on Warrensville Center Road, east on SR 17 (Libby Road), north on Northfield Road and east on Meuti Road to I-480 east/I-271 south.

Overnight Saturday, June 2, crews will close all lanes on I-480 westbound at Warrensville Center Road from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. in order to perform overhead work on Warrensville Center Road.

Detour information: I-480 westbound motorists will be detoured via Aurora Road, north on Northfield Road, west on Miles Road and south on Warrensville Center Road to I-480 westbound.

U.S. 422 west/I-271 southbound motorists wanting to access I-480 west will be detoured west on Miles Road and south on Warrensville Center Road to I-480 west.
