CONCORD TOWNSHIP -- Lake County Sheriff says three burglaries April 27-29 on the same street in the same development end with missing jewelry.

Executive Lieutenant Carl Dondorfer says Lake County Sheriff's deputies went to Caddie Lane on April 29. Caddie Lane is in the Players Club Development.

Deputies determined that between the hours of 5:30 p.m. on April 27 and the early morning hours of April 29, person(s) unknown forcibly entered the front door of the home and stole jewelry from inside.

Neighbors were contacted by deputies but nobody reported seeing any suspicious persons and or vehicles in the area.

On May 3, two additional burglary reports were taken on Caddie Lane in this same development. Both homes were unoccupied and for sale. Neighbors and deputies investigating the reports discovered the two additional burglaries.

It is believed that all three of the burglaries happened during the time frame reported by the first resident and went undetected because the additional two homes were currently unoccupied.

Deputies say residents in this area should maintain vigilance and report and suspicious activity immediately to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
