BATH TOWNSHIP -- An 18-year-old woman was thrown from her car after hitting a tree on Bath Hills Boulevard in Bath Township early Thursday morning.
She was headed north on Bath Hills Boulevard at about 1:05 a.m., when she went off the left side of the road.
She hit the left front corner of her car on a tree, flipping her car and throwing her though a window.
Investigators first suspected she was ejected through the sunroof, but upon further investigation, found she was thrown from the driver side window.
The woman is believed to have suffered some fractures, but her injuries are not considered life threatening.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt. Alcohol is believed to be a factor and a citation is pending.
