CLEVELAND - A strong cold front brought rain and falling temperatures to the Cleveland area on Tuesday.
The front moved through Tuesday afternoon bringing about a half inch of rain to many locations across northern Ohio. This same front brought heavy rains and snows to parts of the western U.S. over the weekend.
Temperatures took a tumble during the day from an early high in the low 60s to temperatures in the low 40s by evening.
The rain made for a sloppy rush hour commute as fog further reduced visibilities to under a mile in downtown Cleveland and two and half miles in action by 4 p.m.
WKYC Chief Meteorologist Betsy Kling says temperatures will be much more seasonable on Wednesday with near normal highs in the low 40s.
