Iowa City, IA (Sports Network) - Cody Zeller poured in a game-high 19 points
on 7-of-12 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds as No. 5 Indiana held off Iowa,
69-65, on Monday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Victor Oladipo netted 14 points on 6-of-10 from the floor and pulled down 10
boards, while Will Sheehey contributed 13 points and five rebounds off the
bench for Indiana (13-1, 1-0 Big Ten), which snapped a four-game losing streak
against the Hawkeyes in Iowa City.
Christian Watford gave 11 points and eight boards in the triumph.
Aaron White paced the Hawkeyes (11-3, 0-1) with 15 points and six rebounds,
while Roy Devyn Marble added 14 points and nine rebounds. Marble struggled
mightily from the floor, hitting just 1-of-14 field goal attempts, but made
12-of-13 from the free throw line.
Mike Gesell finished with 13 points for Iowa, which had a six-game winning
streak snapped.
