AKRON -- Police are using surveillance photos hoping somebody can identify a man who robbed a bank Monday morning.

Akron Police say the man walked inside the First Merit Bank in the 1000 block of Kenmore Boulevard around 10:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money.

The suspect ran off northbound from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
