SOLON -- Someone climbed aboard a train engine while it was stopped on Carter Street and stole the train's horn off the engine.
Just after 6:30 a.m. Monday, an official at Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Company reported that someone had stolen a horn off of one of the engines while it was parked on the tracks near Carter Street.
The horn is valued at $3,000.
The official said the theft occurred sometime between 1 p.m. on Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday.
