LORAIN COUNTY -- A Pennsylvania man is being held in the Lorain County Jail on drug related charges after a traffic stop on the Ohio Turnpike.
Troopers say they pulled over the SUV the man was driving for speeding and a marked lanes violations. When troopers approached the SUV to speak with the driver they detected the odor of marijuana.
A search of the car led to the discovery of two small bags and a pill bottle containing marijuana along with more than 750 illegal prescription pills, including Oxycontin and Opana.
The estimated street value of the drugs is estimated at $7,000.
The driver faces charges including drug trafficking and drug possession.
