This week's Student Athlete of the Week is Katie Perez from Rocky River High School.

Katie is a senior co-captain on the Rocky River swim team and was a state qualifier in the 200-medley relay in 2009 and 400-freestyle relay in 2010. She is currently the West Shore Conference champion in the 500-free.

Out of the pool, Katie is co-president of student council, co-assistant editor of the Pirate Press, a member of National Honor Society and a youth leader at Rocky River United Methodist Church.

Katie owns a 3.9 cumulative GPA.
