    • Meet this week's WKYC-TV Channel 3 "Student-Athlete of the Week," Lake Catholic High School's Katlyn Spahar.

    Spahar, a senior three-year starter on the Cougars' varsity girls basketball team, led the Cougars in points and rebounds during the 2011-12 season.

    Spahar is also a three-year varsity softball player for Lake Catholic.

    Off the court, Spahar is a member of the Spanish Club and has been a camp counselor since 2009.

    Spahar maintains a 3.7 GPA.
