$1.2 million in drugs, cash and firearms seized in drug bust
The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that a year-long investigation resulted in a major drug bust in Stark and Wayne counties.
About $400,000 in cash, drugs with a wholesale value of about $800,000, and more than a dozen firearms were seized after 11 search warranted were executed in Massillon, Canton and multiple locations in Wayne County.
"If we hadn't gotten to this drug trafficking organization, this would have been poisoning people on the streets," said Todd Krajeck, a senior supervisory agent with the FBI's Canton office.
