Deer has Halloween pumpkin stuck on face in South Euclid
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Concerned residents are trying to help a deer that has a plastic Halloween pumpkin pail stuck to its face.
Viewers have been sharing pictures of the deer on social media, one saying the deer has been in this predicament for up to nine days.
About 20 people followed the deer for approximately three miles, but weren't able to get close enough to remove the pumpkin.
The residents have contacted wildlife officials for help.
Last week there was a similar situation with a deer in southern Ohio. It was rescued.
Then, in 2014, a deer in Mentor was saved after days with a pumpkin stuck on its face.
The Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources is trying to remedy the current situation. WKYC's Brandon Simmons is in the area today looking for the deer.
