The woman accused of striking a 9-year-old Euclid girl with her car has been charged with felony hit-skip.

Twenty-three-year-old Lacynthia A. Tidmore, of Cleveland, pleaded not guilty in Euclid Municipal Court today and was issued a $5,000 bond. Additional charges could come pending an investigation.

Authorities say Tidmore struck the child on Babbit Road Thursday morning and then drove off without stopping. Police later found her car at a nearby gas station and she eventually turned herself in.

The little girl remains in critical condition, according to officials.
