CLEVELAND — The City of Cleveland is set to host the annual DANCE/USA conference this summer.
In an effort to support the conference, a $15,000 grant was approved to assist with the conference's marketing costs. The decision was made during Monday's city council meeting.
Each year the conference visits a new city in an effort to showcase the "vibrancy of dance communities across the nation."
This year's conference will take place June 12- 15 primarily at Playhouse Square and University Circle.
The DANCE/USA conference is expected to bring an estimated 600 people to the city, including dancers, coaches, and administrative personnel.
