GUIDE | Where to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Northeast Ohio

If you're looking to embrace your Irish side this weekend, look no further.

Northeast Ohio has plenty of St. Patrick's Day celebrations happening, whether you want to go all out with green beer and costumes, or you just want to take in the parade.

Here's our guide to different places for all your St. Patrick's Day needs this Saturday.

Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade

What: The parade steps off at 1:04 p.m. on Superior Avenue and E. 18th Street. It ends at Rockwell Avenue and Ontario Street. You can see an interactive map of the parade route in the video below.

RTA will have supplemental rail service to meet crowd demands.

When: Saturday, 1:04 p.m.

Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Run

What: Get up bright and early and join the kilt run before you drink too much green beer. The kilt run takes you around one block, from Johnson Court to W. 6th Street. You can also do a 5K that stretches from W. 6th Street along the lakefront. Register here.

When: Saturday, 8:45 a.m.

The Lucky Hunt

What: Head to Mulberry's for a scavenger hunt through Cleveland. You'll receive a list of items to find within 90 minutes for points that can earn you prizes. Cost is $15 per person and includes a shirt, a beer and food specials.

Where: Mulberry's, 2319 Mulberry Ave., Cleveland

When: Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon

Slyman's

What: It's not St. Patrick's Day without some corned beef. Cleveland staple Slyman's will have special hours this week. They won't be serving breakfast Friday and Saturday. Instead, they'll offer carry-out only those days from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

When: Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Flat Iron

What: The Flat Iron will be full of traditional Irish music and fun as it opens early for kegs and eggs. The first 30 visitors will receive a complimentary gift and there will be shuttle services to and from the parade downtown. Learn more here.

When: Saturday, 7 a.m.

Music Box

What: Music Box will be jammed with live acts as part of its Shamrock and Dreadlocks event. The Portersharks will perform at 7 p.m. and Carlos Jones and P.L.U.S. will perform at 9 p.m. The restaurant will be serving up Irish classics for dinner. Get tickets here.

When: Saturday, 7 p.m.

PJ McIntyre's

What: The first 100 people get a free t-shirt here, but get there early as doors open at 7 a.m. They'll be serving up Irish breakfast and you can catch performances from bag pipers and dancers all day.

The Harp

What: The Harp opens at 8 a.m. so you can enjoy their heated, tented patio early. They'll have plenty of Irish eats, cold beer and live music from Boys from County Hell.

Stone Mad

What: Head to the west side for Stone Mad's annual festivities, then return on Sunday for the Hair of the Dog Party with Boys from County Hell.

Parnell's

What: Parnell's also opens early for its annual Irish celebration. First 20 through the door also receive a free shirt.

Collision Bend Brewing Co.

What: Head down to the Flats for Collision Bend's first ever St. Patrick's Day party, complete with live music, corned beef pizza, Irish popcorn and drink specials.

House of Blues

What: Head to the House of Blues for their annual party, which will feature live music acts all day starting at 9 a.m. The event is free to those 21+.

Flannery's

What: If you're an early riser, here's your chance to start your celebration ASAP. Doors here open at 6 a.m., and a cover charge starts at 1 p.m., when Boys from County Hell start their performance.

When: Saturday, 6 a.m.

Nighttown

What: The New Barleycorn will perform three shows throughout the day at Nighttown, which will be serving up Irish food and drinks all day.

Around the Corner

What: Celebrate all day with an Irish DJ, bag pipers, Irish food and plenty of spirits.

Where: 18616 Detroit Ave., Lakewood

When: Saturday, 8:30 a.m.

Great Lakes Brewing Co.

What: Great Lakes is throwing a full weekend celebration for those of you who can't limit yourself to one day. The party starts Friday night and continues all day Saturday, complete with Irish food specials and live music.

When: Friday 11:30 a.m., Saturday 10 a.m.

Loco Leprechaun

What: The party begins at 6 a.m. with kegs and eggs so tank up before downing too many beers. You can meet the "real live Loco Leprechaun" from 2-6 p.m. and hear the West Side Irish American Pipe Band at 4 p.m.
