Kelly Clarkson stepping in for Simon Cowell on "AGT;" Shia LeBeouf in talks to join Marvel Cinematic Universe; and Bindi Irwin expecting first child

LOS ANGELES — Kelly Clarkson is joining the judges table on "America's Got Talent," Shia LeBeouf is reportedly making a large-scale return to Hollywood, and Terri Irwin reacts to the news of her daughter, Bindi, announcing her pregnancy. These are the top headlines around Hollywood.

The "America's Got Talent" judges table is going to look a little different this week.

After breaking his back in a bicycle accident over the weekend, Simon Cowell has enlisted the help of longtime friend and singer, Kelly Clarkson, to take over his position while he is recovering.

Clarkson posted a memo on Instagram writing, "no worries America, someone far wiser, cooler, and hotter is taking his seat."

The singer didn't clarify how long she will be standing in for Cowell, but fans are already excited to see what she brings to the show.

Shia LeBeouf is reportedly in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The "Honey Boy" writer is allegedly looking to return to Hollywood after a two year hiatus, with a role in the new X-Men reboot.

Producers are looking to fill the role of IceMan with the "Peanut Butter Falcon" actor.

LeBeouf, however, has been vocal in the past about his dislike of working on big-studio films, so nothing is confirmed at this time.

And "crikey-mate," there is a new wildlife lover on the way "down under."

Australian conservationist Bindi Irwin announced on Tuesday that she and husband Chandler Powell are expecting their first child in 2021.

The couple, who wed in March, work together at the Australia Zoo, alongside Bindi's mom Terri, and younger brother Robert.

Terri reacted to the happy news on Twitter Tuesday morning, writing "while I wish that Steve was here to share this beautiful moment, I know that he would be so proud."

Steve Irwin passed away in 2006 from a stingray bite. Bindi was only six at the time of his death, and Robert was three.
