Fergie's bizarre rendition of the national anthem Sunday night at the NBA All-Star Game has had the internet talking for all the wrong reasons.

Some social media users have called her performance the worst ever in the anthem's history. Others remember Roseanne Barr's rendition at a San Diego Padres game in 1990, or the time Kat DeLuna forgot the lyrics in 2008 in Dallas.

But instead of focusing on the negative, what about the best national anthem performances?

Billboard ranked Whitney Houston's Star Spangled Banner at the 1991 Super Bowl the best the big game has ever seen.

Pop star Pink nailed the anthem prior to this year's Super Bowl, and she did it while under the weather. (Cameras caught her popping a lozenge from her mouth just before she began.)

Jimi Hendrix played the anthem live at Woodstock in 1969.

Or there was the 1983 NBA All-Star Game, when Marvin Gaye delivered a smooth performance.
