New Order, SZA, Avett Brothers, AWOLNATION to headline first InCuya Music Festival this summer

The inaugural InCuya festival will take place in Cleveland Aug. 25 and 26.

CLEVELAND -- The inaugural InCuya Music Festival will kick off with a heck of a headline lineup.

New Order, Avett Brothers, SZA and AWOLNATION will headline downtown Cleveland's first major music festival later this summer.

Rock Hall CEO Greg Harris, Destination Cleveland CEO David Gilbert, Mayor Frank Jackson and other officials made the announcement in a news conference Friday afternoon.

Several other artists scheduled to perform were announced:

  • Tank & the Bangas
  • J. Roddy Walston & the Business
  • Bahamas

  • Ezri
  • Kitten
  • The Jack Fords
  • The Blue Stones
  • Dreamers
  • Seafair
  • The Modern Electric

The inaugural InCuya festival will take place Aug. 25 and 26 downtown on Cleveland's malls.

The event will be presented by concert promoter AEG Presents in partnership with the Rock Hall, the city of Cleveland and Destination Cleveland. AEG is the production company responsible for Coachella, Rock on the Range and several other national music festivals.

Early bird tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday at 10 a.m. Various ticket packages will be available.

The festival is partly the result of a $4.1M sponsorship received by the Rock Hall to support community activities.

The cross-genre and multigenerational festival will feature national and local musicians.
