Name that Clevelander! How many Northeast Ohio celebs can you recognize?

Mike Polk Jr. puts his fellow Clevelanders to the test.

CLEVELAND — Who is on your all-time Famous Clevelander Mount Rushmore?

Tough call, isn’t it? So many options.

Your FCMR might feature Jim Brown, Paul Newman, John D. Rockefeller and Carl Stokes while someone else might select Bob Hope, President James A. Garfield, LeBron James, and Bob Feller. And neither person would be incorrect! Cleveland has been blessed with a multitude of talented and well known people and it all depends on how you personally value and define the term “fame”.

There really are no wrong answers. And yet every time I reveal that my personal FCMR is Tim Conway, Frank Yankovic, Ghoulardi and the 90’s-Era Cavs Polar Bear Mascot Whammer, everyone jumps all over me!

Do you recognize these famous faces?

IT’S SUBJECTIVE PEOPLE. Let’s drop the judgment! If you want your Famous Clevelander Mount Rushmore to just be the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony with the exception of Bizzy Bone (because Bone has five members so someone can’t make the cut and in your opinion Bizzy contributed the least to the group’s success) it is your right to do so!

Even if I personally believe that’s nonsense because Bizzy Bone was far more essential to the development of the sound that became Bone than Krayzie Bone and I have no idea where you’re even coming from with that garbage take.

But like I said, that’s the beauty of this exercise. There are no wrong answers.

Regardless, it turns out that the kids these days are embarrassingly ignorant of Cleveland celebrities, as proven in the attached video.
