Lakewood unzipped: The hottest spots in the city

From Angelo's to Mahall's to Melt!

LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- In this morning's "unzipped" we're exploring the 44107 zip code -- that’s Lakewood.

Mahall’s is just one of the many places in Lakewood you can stop by to have a good time, but the 44107 has so much more!

First stop: Angelo’s Pizza... Everyone told me you can’t come to Lakewood without stopping here first.

"We’ve just been around since 1981. It’s one of the best pizzas in Cleveland and we give great customers service to keep them coming back!" said Brian Hitch.

And they stay busy -- especially because Lakewood High is right around the corner.

They say Lakewood is a livable city for both young professionals and family.

The Lakewood community is a melting pot with multiple places to eat... Or you can go to a spiritual oasis like the Museum of Divine Statues.

But it’s Detroit Road where you find all the sweet spots. Campbell’s Sweets Factory has been around for quite some time, and they say Lakewood is dripping with activity.

"We're one of many good sweet spots here," said Chris Helbert. "If you haven’t been you should probably come check out some of the spots here."

But wait! There's more! The new Solstice Steps at Lakewood Park on Lake Erie offer a spectacular amenity overlooking one of the best water views in Northeast Ohio.
