SANDUSKY, Ohio -- It’s alive!

Cedar Point is teasing roller coaster fans with a quick glimpse of the park’s new Steel Vengeance roller coaster taking an actual test run.

The park shared a brief video clip that shows what it looks like from the ride’s front seat as the coaster train plummets down its 90-degree first drop.

“Please please PLEASE give us the full POV soon!,” one Twitter user wrote.

Park spokesperson Tony Clark was swift and simple with his reply: “This is what we in the business call a “tease.” But it’s breathtaking!”

A full video of Steel Vengeance in action likely won’t be available for weeks.

Steel Vengeance opens to the general public as the 2018 season kicks off on Saturday, May 5, but you can be the first to climb aboard. Find out how HERE.

With the addition of Steel Vengeance, Cedar Point has the most roller coaster track in the world with 11.4 total miles. It’s also the only amusement park with six roller coasters taller than 200 feet.
