Skiphop recalls nearly 8,000 convertible highchairs

If you have one of these chairs, stop using it immediately and contact Skiphop.

Skiphop is recalling nearly 8,000 convertible highchairs sold in the US.

The company is citing potential falls and injuries to kids as the cause.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall is for the gray -colored " tuo convertible high chairs" purchased between December 2016 and September 2017.

Skiphop received 13 reports of the front legs on the chairs detaching from the seat resulting in two reports of bruises to kids.

The chairs were sold on Amazon and at several stores, including : Babies "R" Us, Target, Khol's and Dillards for about $160

Check CPSC.gov to see if you have and affected style number, which can be found on the back of the chair.

If you have one of these chairs, stop using it immediately and contact Skiphop for a free replacement.
