CLEVELAND -- It’s the end of an era.

As Cleveland’s iconic Big Fun store prepares to close forever, all items are now for sale at 50 percent off.

“This HALF OFF SALE will run through the end of May,” the store posted on its Facebook page Friday. “Thanks for all who came in to say hello and wish the Big Fun Family their best.”

Earlier this week, Big Fun’s owner, Steve Presser, announced his plans to close the store.

"This is a decision that is incredibly difficult. There are so many variables to this equation…so many layers and so many people involved. This decision is being made after countless hours of discussion with Family, Friends, and business colleagues, whom I respect dearly.

Big Fun has served the Cleveland toy and collectors' community for 27 years. Its west side location closed in 2015.
