City Club of Cleveland hosts National Civil Rights Summit

Third Federal Chairman and CEO Marc Stefanski was honored for his efforts to combat discriminatory housing practices.

Memories and ambitions in the struggle for equality were on display today in Northeast Ohio as the National Civil Rights Summit took place at the City Club of Cleveland.

Larry "Mr. Cleveland" Morrow served as master of ceremonies for the event, which celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act of 1968. Third Federal Chairman and CEO Marc Stefanski was honored for his efforts to combat discriminatory housing practices.

Other local speakers included journalist Leon Bibb, comedian and longtime radio personality Jimmy Malone, and former Cavaliers general manager and Basketball Hall of Famer Wayne Embry.
