YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Three people were killed and multiple others are injured as a result of multiple shootings and a fatal car accident near a bar in Youngstown, early Saturday morning.

At least three people were injured by apparent gunshot wounds, with at least one person in critical condition, according to Youngstown Police.

The incidents took place at three separate crime scenes near the Torch Club Bar and Grill on Salt Springs Road, officials told WFMJ.

No suspects have been taken into custody at this time, though police say they are talking with multiple individuals.

"This is a complex investigation involving multiple crime scenes, numerous witnesses, six detectives and three crime scene unit personnel," Youngstown Police Chief Carl Davis said. "We are using all of our available resources to ensure a thorough and proper investigation is conducted."

None of the shootings happened inside of the Torch Club Bar, however there was an incident that occurred there prior to the violence, according to Davis.

Youngstown Police responded to calls reporting a shooting at around 2 a.m. on Sunday, and when officers arrived on the scene they administered first aid to multiple victims.

Police are reporting three separate crime scenes, including two related to shootings near the bar and another at the site of a fatal accident nearby on Greenwood Street.

Officers from Austintown, Mill Creek, Girard, Liberty and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were on the scene to support Youngstown Police responding to the incidents.

Anyone with information about the shootings is asked to call 330-746-CLUE. Tips can be left anonymously.
