PLAIN, Ohio — A 29-year-old woman is dead after being found shot in Stark County early Wednesday morning.
Just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, sheriff's deputies were called to the 6000 block of Frazier Avenue Northwest in to investigate a suspicious death. When officials got to location, they found Canton resident Morgan Ashlye Fox deceased inside a vehicle in a driveway.
Authorities say it appears Fox died of a gunshot wound. The Plain Township fire department and Stark County Coroner's Office assisted deputies.
The fatal shooting remains under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information on this incident to please call (330) 430-3800.
