The Parma Heights 18-year-old who allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend and her mother appeared in court for arraignment Tuesday morning.

Joshua Harvey was arrested outside his ex-girlfriend's Parma home at the 10000 block of Moore Drive Sunday night.

Police received a panicked 911 call from Harvey's 17-year-old ex-girlfriend, who had reportedly ended their relationship three weeks prior.

Police say Harvey entered the girl's home and stabbed her and her mother, identified as 56-year-old Ruthanne McGinty.

Harvey was found outside the home with a cut to his right hand. All three were taken to MetroHealth, where McGinty was admitted to the ICU. Harvey was later transported to jail, where he faces two charges of attempted murder.
