CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Fire Department spokesman Larry Gray tells WKYC that the cause of the house explosion just before 1 p.m. March 6 was a build up of natural gas in the house.

Gray also stated that the fire department believes that "...person or persons unknown entered the house prior to the explosion and removed certain items from the structure.." Other nearby homes were damaged but there were no injuries.

The house was at the corner of Sandusky and Clarebird avenues.
