Earlier today, WKYC posted a story from the Cincinnati Enquirer about a proposed Ohio bill that would require drivers to wait one year after getting their driver's permit before testing for a full time license, instead of the current six months.

While teens could still get a permit at age 15 and a half, lawmakers feel the proposal will give them more experience and practice time before getting behind the wheel alone. It could also have the potential of lowering the number of 16-year-old drivers on the streets.

Naturally, our viewers had a lot of reactions to the story. Some were not happy with the proposal at all, saying it should be up to the parents. Others thought it didn't go far enough, and expressed a desire to raise the age altogether.

Here are some of the best responses.
