Fire station in Cleveland damaged by multiple cars

A chain reaction crash caused damage to Station 20.

Cleveland Fire Station 20 suffered damage after a multi-car crash caused a chain reaction Sunday evening.

The crash involved three cars.

According to Cleveland Fire PIO Michael Norman, a gray Chevrolet Equinox ran into the back of a white Volkswagen Jetta, which in turn hit a brown Buick sitting at a traffic light on Archwood Avenue.

The multi-car impact caused the Buick to travel into a convenience store parking lot.

The Jetta struck the front bumper of Tower 20 and the Chevrolet Equinox smashed into the engine door of the fire station at 10 miles per hour.

Cleveland EMS was called to the scene and all three drivers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The fire station previously experienced a car crashing into the same building last month.
