AKRON -- An 18-year-old has died after being shot during a road rage incident.

The shooting happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say Tyler Shamburger, 18, was driving north on Kelly Avenue with two of his friends when they were involved in a road rage incident.

After a verbal argument between Shamburger and the other driver, the other driver fired multiple shots into Shamburger's SUV, hitting him and causing the car to crash. The two passengers were not injured.

The driver who fired the gun then fled the scene.

Police are looking for the suspect's car, a silver four-door Chevy Impala with a spoiler and tinted windows -- possibly an SS or LTZ model.

The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 18 and 25.
