An Ohio man faces 19 counts of theft of intellectual property stemming from material taken from Williams-Sonoma Inc. in 2014 when he left the company.
Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood said in a news release Tuesday 53-year-old Timothy Wayne Stover, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested Friday by investigators.
Hood said Stover was booked into the DeSoto County Detention Center and released on his own recognizance.
A DeSoto County grand jury indicted Stover in July.
The indictment accuses him of taking confidential intellectual property when he left Williams-Sonoma, in Olive Branch, for a job with a competitor.
Stover, if convicted, could face up to 95 years in prison and a $190,000 fine
