Akron Police have issued a warrant for the man wanted for the robbery of the PNC Bank on West Market Street on Friday afternoon.

Detectives signed a warrant for aggravated robbery for 26-year-old Deandre Garrett of Lane Street in Akron.

According to reports, the suspect entered the bank and passed the teller a note demanding money. He made threats of possessing a gun, but no firearm was seen. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen heading southbound on Marvin Avenue.

Garrett stands 6'1", weighing 145 lbs. He has short dreadlock hair or braids, a goatee, and was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
