AKRON -- A former Akron man pleaded guilty Tuesday to raping two young family members over a five-year period.
Anthony Long, 59, was sentenced to life behind bars after he pleaded guilty to two counts of rape.
Long and his wife raised the two victims, who were ages eight and 13, from 2010-15 in Akron. During that time, Long sexually assaulted and raped the girls. He moved to Erie, Pennsylvania in 2015 and was arrested last summer.
Long won't be eligible for parole for 20 years.
