CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Division of Police Narcotics Unit, working in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol's S.W.A.T. unit, executed a search warrant at 2611 Althen Avenue near West 25th Street, according to a Cleveland police spokeswoman.

Police say the location was suspected of containing a meth lab.

The Cleveland Division of Police Bomb Squad also responded and is on the scene.

A small meth lab was discovered and is currently being removed, police said.

Cleveland Division of Fire units and a HAZMAT unit are in the immediate area assisting as well, police said.

Police say that, as a result of the investigation at 2611 Althen, seven people were arrested in connection with the search warrant . All seven were arrested for violation of state drug law.

Police say the three men and four women were taken to the Justice Center to be booked.
