Two people are dead after they were both shot in the chest Saturday afternoon in Southeast Cleveland.

The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. on E 92nd St., according to police. Both male victims, one 29 and the other 50 years old, were taken to University Hospitals in Cleveland, where they later died. Their identities have not yet been released.

The shooting was one of at least two to take place in the city Saturday: A 16-year-old boy was also shot in the leg on E 80th. He was also taken to UH.

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the fatal shooting. No possible suspects have been mentioned in either of the cases.

EDITOR'S NOTE: An earlier version of this story stated that the shootings of both deceased victims were separate incidents. This was based on information received from the Cleveland Division of Police. A later statement from police clarified both men were killed in the same incident on E 92nd St.
