Cleveland Metroparks trail maps: New app launches after record-breaking year brings 19.7+ million visitors

Officials say 2020 brought in more than 19.7 million visitors, which is a new record despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

CLEVELAND — It was a record-breaking year for the Cleveland Metroparks as more than 19.7 million people visited their locations in 2020. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, officials say that breaks their previous record by more than 1.2 million visitors.

After the record-breaking year, the Cleveland Metroparks announced Monday they are launching a new “Find Your Path” app, which is a fresh campaign aimed at encouraging exploration and inclusivity across their more than 24,000 acres.

The new app, which is now available to download, “will offer new ways to explore and connect with nature.” App users will have access to new maps of all 18 park reservations, including trails, attractions and hidden gems. The app will also showcase upcoming programming and events at Cleveland Metroparks locations, including golf courses, restaurants, retail and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
