An eventful Friday night in Cleveland was capped off by a pair of overnight stabbings—one fatal—and teen shootings, per the Cleveland Police Department.
Around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning, at the Rally's on Kinsman, a 48-year-old man was robbed and fatally stabbed in the face and chest. Officials say he was an employee at the restaurant and two suspects fought with him and another employee inside.
One of the suspects apparently had a gun, and both victims were ordered to the ground and told to open a safe. After the safe could not be opened, one of the suspects picked up a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the 48-year-old, who later died.
Elsewhere, at 10 p.m. Friday night, a 27 year-old male was transported to University Hospitals after being stabbed in the leg on E. 130 Street.
An hour later, a female was shot in the leg on W. 117 Street & Triskett Avenue.
Early Sunday morning, at 1:30 a.m., a 17 year-old male was transported to Metro Hospitals after suffering a gun shot wound to the leg on W. 140 Street and Triskett Avenue.
At 4 a.m., a 15 year-old male was shot in the leg on E. 93 Street and Union.
