CLEVELAND -- Smoke filled the sky early Tuesday morning as firefighters battled a large blaze on Cleveland’s west side.

It started shortly after midnight at an abandoned warehouse on Wentworth Avenue.

Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to cut a hole in the building in their effort to extinguish the flames.

Officials say the frigid temperatures added an extra challenge to fighting the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
