Cleveland Police were at the scene of an officer-involved shooting that took place Friday morning.

Police say they were attempting to serve a warrent to McKale Hill, who is wanted for a 2016 homicide and is a suspect in several area armed robberies.

Hill allegedly tried to run the officers down with his car, causing shots to be fired.

Hill is now in the hospital in stable condition. He is expected to face additional charges.

The incident occurred at E. 160th Street and Miles Road. No officers were harmed and the department's Use of Deadly Force Investigation Team was called to the scene.

Cleveland Police say the officer involved is a member of the Euclid Police Department serving on the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Unit.
