CLEVELAND — The IX Center in Cleveland will host this weekend’s Ohio Cannabis Health and Business Summit on Saturday and Sunday.

Organizers say this event is “a unique conference aimed at educating the general public and business professionals involved in and around the medical cannabis industry.”

The event is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. for Oct. 1-2. Single-day tickets are listed for $20. Two-day tickets are available for $30. You can purchase tickets HERE.

Officials say you do not need a medical marijuana card to attend.

“The conference is aimed at consumers, entrepreneurs, seasoned medical professionals, attorneys, banking and finance representatives, operations and communications experts who believe in this new frontier in medicine,” according to the event’s site.

Exhibitors will also be on hand in various areas of the cannabis industry, which organizers say range from dispensaries, CBD and cannabis brands, holistic and health providers and clothing companies.

“OCHBS is bringing consumers the science of medical cannabis, while offering industry stakeholders the opportunity to share and learn from each other,” the event’s site explains. “Whether you’re involved in cultivation, retail, manufacturing, or an ancillary business in cannabis, it’s an opportunity to share insights and best practices.”

You can also expect educational workshops, keynote speeches from “industry titans,” discussions with cannabis pioneers and more.

“You can expect many forums that include dispensary owners, growers, suppliers, investors, medical professionals, government regulators, legal counsel and entrepreneurs seeking business success and new areas for growth in this fast-growing industry.”
