Three days after the Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association endorsed Donald Trump for President, demonstrators protested outside union headquarters tonight calling the endorsement a slap in the face to the residents of Cleveland and for union president Steve Loomis to resign.

On Tuesday, we had a chance to go one on one with Loomis in a lively discussion about the controversy and his decision to push for the endorsement. It’s the first time the CPPA has decided to endorse a candidate in its almost 50 year history.
