Swensons University Heights location set to open Jan. 8

Northeast Ohioans north of I-480 will finally get their Galley Boys.

Swensons has announced its University Heights location will open Jan. 8.

The long-awaited site has been in the works for months as the Cleveland area's first Swensons site.

From LeBron James to Amy Schumer, the drive-in burger joint has developed a devout following and has been an Akron area institution since 1934.

The University Heights location is at 14510 Cedar Road.
