The man accused of murdering a Salvation Army worker pleads guilty

Jones now faces life in prison. His sentencing for Jones is set for May 21.

Ted Williams Jones appeared in Cuyahoga Court Tuesday.

Jones plead guilty to a laundry list of charged including the aggravated murder of Salvation Army worker, Jared Plesec.

Jones fatally shot 21-year-old Plesec outside of the Euclid Beach Villa apartments last December.

After shooting Plesec, Jones fled the scene and went on a carjacking crime spree that ended in Lakewood.

Jones now faces life in prison. His sentencing for Jones is set for May 21.
