Two dead, four others injured after string of weekend shootings in Cleveland

It was a violent weekend in Cleveland.

The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating a string of shootings that killed two and injured four others.

Early Sunday morning, Officials responded to a home at at 10206 Lamontier Avenue in Cleveland's Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood for a person with a gunshot wound to the face.

Upon arrival, the victim was identified as a 20-year-old male; He later died at the scene.

On Saturday, officials responded to three other shootings, one of them fatal.

Around 4:22 a.m. Officials responded to 14100 St. Clair Avenue for a 28-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the face.

The man was transported to University Hospitals, where he later died from his injuries.

At 8:28 a.m., a 55-year old man was shot in the arm in Cleveland South Collinwood neighborhood.

He was transported to University Hospitals, his condition is unknown at this time.

Around 9:41p.m., officials responded to a call on Cleveland West side for a teen with a gunshot wound to the face.

A 16-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the face near 3197 West 32.

He was transported to Metro Health Hospitals. His condition is unknown at this time.

Around 11:04 p.m. officials respond to 13723 Rugby Avenue for two males shot.

The victims ages 31,38 were both transported to University Hospitals.

No further information is available at this time.

All cases remain under investigation and no suspects or motives have been released.
