CLEVELAND -- A woman is in custody while two other people are recovering after a vehicle crashed into a pack of motorcycles Thursday night.

Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 10400 block of Detroit Avenue when a 2002 Chrysler went left of center and traveled into a pack of approximately 20 motorcycles.

One of the motorcyclists was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition. Police say a second motorcyclist was expected to be treated and released.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 40-year-old woman, was located and arrested for hit-skip and aggravated vehicular assault.

Police say alcohol is believed to have been a factor.

No names in the incident have been released.
