WATCH | Trevor Noah shouts out Cleveland on NBC's 'Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'

"There's a renaissance in Cleveland and things are getting better, it's a beautiful place. Great people."

You have to love when the city of Cleveland gets a good old fashioned shout-out on national television!

On Friday's edition of 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on NBC (Watch weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on WKYC Channel 3), Jimmy welcomed 'The Daily Show' host Trevor Noah.

The duo talked about Noah's tour of live shows that are taking him all over the country, including a recent stop at Cleveland's KeyBank State Theater earlier this month.

"I love seeing America," Noah began. "I don't just go coast-to-coast, I'll go everywhere like Erie, Pennsylvania, Cleveland, Pittsburgh." (Let the record show that the audience seemed to like the fact that Noah mentioned Cleveland."

When Fallon asked if he had a favorite place to perform, Noah answered, "Cleveland's one of my favorites (more applause). Cleveland is like 'hey, we've suffered through everything.' There's just a vibe in Cleveland, like when I tell them about Africa, they're like, 'that's just like here, Trevor'."

"Cleveland???" Fallon asked, laughing.

"I don't know, we connect, we just connect," Noah replied. "Now there's a renaissance in Cleveland and things are getting better, it's a beautiful place. Great people."

Thanks, Trevor.
