CLEVELAND -- A young woman is dead and three others are hospitalized after the vehicle they were in hit a Family Dollar store.

Police say the vehicle, carrying five people, was traveling down Broadway Ave. when the driver lost control and hit the Family Dollar store late Saturday night.

One of the passengers, a 27-year-old woman, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she later died. The AP is reporting the woman has been identified as Amandia Davis of Toledo.

Three other passengers were also injured in the accident and were taken MetroHealth Medical Center.

Police identified the driver as 34-year-old James A. Cook of Warrensville Heights. Police say he was treated for his injuries at Metro and released Monday morning. Charges against him are pending, according to police. .
